Dr. Adedeji graduated with a Medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. He held the position of Medical Officer at three different hospitals while practicing in Ibadan and then had two and a half years of training as a Senior House Officer in Emergency Medicine at the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick, Republic of Ireland. He did his residency in Family Medicine and fellowship in Geriatrics at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio.

He is Board Certified in Family and Geriatric Medicine.

His research projects include Quality Improvement for Management of Diabetics and use of Psychotropic and Physical Restraints in Nursing Home residents. He also does international medical missions.

Dr. Adedeji is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He was Attending Physician with Wellmed Medical Group and Baptist Hospital System in San Antonio Texas until he moved to El Paso with his family.
